Use Moo With facebook - Very Cool!

As of now I made two UFC layouts / graphics for Facebook to show my love for the next two big title fights upcoming over the next month. Trying to keep this about facebook - I must clear up the reason for not making layouts for Lesnar. Randy Couture is fighting Lesnar - Randy being a talented, loved, and respected fighter who has proven himself time and time again in the UFC, as well world of MMA. Coutures skills show how diverse, and well rounded he is. Lets not forget his ability to always put on a good show and often “wow” the fans.

So then we have Lesnar who is quite simply a One Trick Pony, with the ability to land a decent shot every now and then (big woop) and lays all over his opponents. Along with his undeserved cocky attitude in regards to his less-than-impressive win… I really didnt feel the desire to even have his face on the same graphic as The Natural - Couture.

Now I dont have this type of distain for Patrick Cote, who is The Spiders challenger… But I figured since both Couture and Anderson are belt holders - why not just to layouts highlighting them!

You might be sharing info with people/a person you are trying to keep out of your profile, and not even know it! & How to keep your profile, pictures, and friends list really private from anyone!

Did you know that if you respond to a message from someone you dont know, OR message someone from your “friend request” to ask them “if you know them?”, or “how they found you?” - You have just entitled them to complete access to your profile, friends list, and pictures even if your profile is set to only allow friends to view this.

Thats right, even though you have edited your facebook privacy settings to only allow friends to view any part of your profile - responding to anyone entitles them one month access to every part of your profile!

But, lets not let this run us off of our favorite social network site. The fix is quite simple and it only takes a small amount of effort.

If you get a “friend request” on Facebook and you have no idea who that person is, nor do you have any “friends in common” with this person, and upon viewing their profile is there anything in there that Rings A Bell of why they may be adding you. Simply hit the “Ignore” but and ignore their request.

The ignore feature doesnt Block, or Ban them from ever contacting you again, rather just ignores their request to be added as your friend. Too add to that, the person who has requested to be added to your “friends list” will not be notified in anyway that you have “ignored”, or rejected their add request so you have no reason to worry of offending anyone. Should you be the type to be concerned with this, and should this person actually know you and really want to be friends with you… then they will request again right?! And possibly have some friends in common with you at that point, along with a profile filled out and pictures to assure you that this is someone you dont mind to share your information and photos with.

Why this is such a big deal? - Lets be realistic about this and honest with ourselves, we all have people we would prefer not to have access to any part of our private lives in any form. With that we have seen the Dr. Phil, Maury Povich, and Oprah TV show’s that have featured lives of people effected by the wrong people viewing their profiles and pictures. It could be your employer/boss, ex boyfriend, or girlfriend, or whomever that doesnt need to have access to your life, and it must be known that making a phony account for the purposes of snooping is all too easy!

In closing I want to end by saying using Facebook should be just fine for any responsible person with proper knowledge of how everything works, and theres no need to run out and close your account. However do as much as you can to keep your profile private if you are one of the people who have selected those options in your Privacy Settings.

Making money online with facebook is something you can do and the only thing thats separating you from making a living from your own home now are about 4 different tools. We will list these tools and get you started. Finally I would like to mention these tools are all things I have done and still do and have kept me going online for many years.

1. A website - And now its easier then ever… Gone are the days you needed a traditional website which would requires hours and days of your time while by the time you were finished, you didnt accomplish what you wanted at all.

Now you can and should get your self a blog, they are easy to do and did I mention FREE?

But what is this hosting about? - Think of having a website just like owning furniture, well web-hosting would be the equivalent to having a house to put your furniture in. After joining LunarPages simply put in a WordPress blog!

3. A domain Name - The fun part! Many people love picking out a domain name. Now from a business view I suggest you pick a name relivant to your new online business idea. For example if you plan to sell shorts online, you would want a name like funkyshorts.com or something with the word “shorts” in it.

By this point you are well on your way to being done and you’ve only spent $10.00 to $15.00!!!

4. Promoting Your Site - Now this point will have a whole post / article all of its own as this is very important. Before I go on I must say this is the hard part - never mind the website that doesnt look the way you want it too at first - that doesnt matter at all because a website design is just a small piece of the puzzle.

There are more self-made rich KIDS online, then you can possibly imagine. - If countless 18 year old boys and girls can do it, so can you!

Promoting your site is the exact same idea as having a store downtown in your city. Only in the “real world” Location, Location, Location is the key. Thankfully on the internet we ALL have the same location, the only difference is drawing people into your site.

 This goes past facebook and rather onto the subject of making money online / the internet. Its not a piece of cake for the average person or everyone would be doing it right?! Thats a yes and no answer. Since this article will be on Making Money ON Facebook we will keep this How To; on using facebook and very basics. Of course much more could and should be looked into - and for those more advanced tips and steps I suggest you read through all of our articles and posts on making money online!

Make Money With Facebook - To simply generate revenue using Facebook and the traffic you have around your profile you should consider joining and trying the following:

1. Cubics.com - They allow you to put paid ads in your profile… Any why not when you have how many hundreds of people in your friends list!!

2. Facebook Marketplace - Lots can be said on this, so we have its own post for Facebook Marketplace.

The marketplace http://www.new.facebook.com/marketplace/ is a GREAT tool to use in my opinion to use if you sell things. Now by default the Marketplace will list items in your city, this means it will do the same for your potential buyers as well. So you may just want to spend the necessary hours selling items in many other cities as well.

Isint this such a great way to get your foot in the door early as a trusted seller.

3. Promote Your Blog On Facebook - I love this one. Of ALL the friends you have on your facebook friends list, what if they all were notified every time you posted in your blog? Assuming you have a facebook account for your business, you could be sending alot of traffic to your website or blog with out even logging into Facebook!

If you’re using a wordpress Blog you absolutely must use this “WordBook” plugin for facebook, as each time you post it will update your profile and list your new activity/the post on the main page for all to see when they first login to Facebook!

But just hold on there… dont be too quick to just hit the back button and roll your eyes! We should take a look at WHY you/we use facebook, and why we add the people we do.

Personal - Maybe you use facebook because you like to keep in touch with friends, meet new ones in and around your social group and things of the like.

Networking - Well trust us, your not the only one on Facebook for the pure sake of networking. BUT in that case you just might be more inclined to accept allot more people on your friends list that a person who’s interests are just their existing social circles.

Fun & Whatever - You’re not one of those people who put “Anything I can get” in the Looking-For section of their profile are you? Well, you too just might be a little more open and willing to add random people to your friends list on facebook as well if your looking for “fun & whatever”

So whats my point? Theres a time when we all hit the “ignore/decline” button when someone requests to be friends on Facebook - But if you want to use facebook as a tool for networking, promotions, and even learning… sometimes it just might be in your interest to just hit accept a little more.

PLEASE keep in mind, Your REAL INFORMATION is out there! So do use caution if your facebook account is in fact using your real personal information. If you have all your real life personal friends on your friends list, and they have their information listed too… You may want to disregard everything you read on
this page and just keep to your crowd!

TIPS: If you get a friend request and your unsure of the person, just check out their friends list and see if you have any of the same friends. - You can check out the networks they belong to and see if their even in your city at all! Chances are if you two have no friends in common it not worth the add

Anyway my readers… I just wanted to throw those things out there. To make you aware of what you might be missing by not adding more people and at the same time… remind some of you to stay cautious and encourage some of you to NOT add just anyone.

So far Iv found one I like. It seems very active, its up-to-date and is filled with thousands upon thousands of members, videos, discussion groups that are active and much more! If you havent joined “Addicted To The UFC” facebook group, I suggest checking it out!

Im a huge long time UFC fan, so Im quite happy to make our very 1st Group Recommendation on UFC, the day of a big fight! Go GSP. 

After looking around the Addicted To The UFC group I found a weigh in video which someone kindly posted for us all to watch. Which was great as this video just happened yesterday so the owners of the group must be committed to the group and offer regular goodies for us all to enjoy. We know theres thousands of groups on facebook on virtually anything so its quite nice to find a group that meets your needs and can scratch your itch with up to date good stuff!
As I mentioned prior the huge amount of members this group contains is surely to have at almost any time or day someone for you to chit chat with, or debate with!

Face Book Layouts and Graphics

Of course we will be adding more and more everyday that goes by but just keep in mind that we are brand new around here so the selection is not high just yet. However we are trying to provide facebook layouts and graphics that will appeal to all ages, so your defiantly welcome to post your comments or even requests for graphic ideas in our comments section in the bottom of this page.

Customizing your facebook profile is not as easy as other social networking sites… You need applications installed to add any graphics, or any customizing or personalization to your facebook profile at all. So if your new to facebook and are unaware of what you will need to have any graphics on your profile, we will just let you know now that to use or graphics or any graphics on face book… you must have the “My Stuff” application.

“My Stuff” is a great application as it enables you to add any graphics, videos, and just about anything right to your profile with a simple paste of code. So we defiantly recommend getting this application!

Before I end here I would just like to note that we are very excited to bring this blog to the internet, so hopefully you’ll bookmark us and keep checking back because the graphic resources we offer are just one of the features we plan to provide!
